A friend recently had to leave island in a hurry, and as a result I was offered something I couldn’t (or maybe should have) refused.

Its a 1955 Series 1, and pretty tidy all round apart from the outriggers which need a “spot of welding” *ahem* …

I’ve already had my first hedge find in the quest to pilfer old parts, pulling a steering box and hub from a rotting series 1 109″ found quietly rotting in a side road.

Not that I need another project, but what are weekends for if not for pulling old cars apart and some amateur spannering?

new landy!!
